My wife had a brain aneursysm on Octber 5th 2009. The whole family has been though a traumatic time. My son was just 5 at the time. My wife was just 43. She nearly died but survived… with a hooked left arm, softened voice, extreme fatigue and confusion. She cannot do anything herself properly and can no longer drive or go to work. She has lost out on the important part of our son’s upbringing. Her cognitive deficits are severe; no initiative, motivation, problem solving skills as well as no concentration, attention and suffers from impulsivity and left-sides neglect.

How cruel is this? She is aware of what has happened and I think she has cried every single day for over 2 years and 2 months. How do you think I feel when I flashback to my wedding and her smiling face? How do I feel when I see previous videos and photos of us being a happy and healthy family?

I now have some minor health issues owing to depression, stress and anxiety. I am exhausted – mentally and physically. I am not happy at all. My son is now 8 and he has suffered… and will never forget this as his childhood memory.

I have prayed and begged for healing. I have had some very private moments and asking for forgiveness.

Nothing has improved. Whay should I now believe when the suffering is like this?

It is sooooo easy for some to say God works in mysterious ways and he has a plan. Not buying this. Id this is true, why have our lives seemingly now been ruined? Why do rapists and murderers still walk the streets with their health whereas my wife is more often or not lying in bed… tired, depressed and helpless?

It seems there is no justice. I do not want any false hope. If these healings happened, then please share some good news my way for a change.

I have tried to be patient and genuine but this is hard when results do not seem to happen…
